AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class
S.T.A.R. stands for socialization, training, activity and responsible ownership…what every puppy needs for a good start. This class will show you how to help your puppy become a well-behaved member of your family and the community. Puppies who graduate from S.T.A.R. classes have the foundation to be successful in the AKC's Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program and begin training for more advanced activities such as obedience, agility, rally and therapy dog work.

AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
Passing the AKC CGC test is a well recognized accomplishment. Just recently it became an official AKC title open to both purebreeds and mixed breed dogs. Using positive reinforcement rather than force, this class teaches you how to prepare for and pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen test requirements, form sitting politely and greeting strangers to walking on a loose leash and coming when called. As you practice for the test your dog becomes a better socialized and mannered companion.

Performance Puppy
Ages 8 weeks to 8 months. A prerequisite for Foundation Agility. Basic Skills
A foundation training class using up to date, force free training techniques that help improve behavior while building a positive relationship with your dog. This class is a prerequisite for Foundation Agility.

Competition Rally
For puppies 8 months and up and at least one previous puppy or basic manners class should be completed. Rally is a fun-filled, fast-paced form of obedience where handlers and dogs complete a different exercise at each "station" of a numbered course. Perfect for adolescent dogs as it keeps you moving and your dog thinking! The order of the signs and configuration of the course is different every time you practice or compete. Jump right into class at any time with instructor approval.

Rally Free
Learn how to dance with your dog! Rally Free is a new dog sport that adds to traditional Rally exercises and provides for the inclusion of freestyle tricks of your own choosing into routines. Rally Free is a "bridge" between Rally and Canine Freestyle. At Rally Free competitions, music played during a dog's turn and the team, both dog and handler always bow to the audience at the end.

Tricks Class
Entertain your friends and family while you show off your dog training prowess! Add tricks to your therapy dog's repertoire or use tricks as a stress reducer for you and your performance dog. Teach foster dogs a few simple trick and watch how fast they get adopted! No matter the reason, tricks' training helps you build a closer relationship with your dog.
